Wondering how to change your TelOne ADSL password? This article is for you. In a land where internet costs are still on the high side and capped packages are the norm, you want to make the most of whatever package you can afford.

Have you had the unfortunate experience where your Wi-Fi suddenly stops working and upon further investigation discover that you’ve actually exhausted your package? Upon further investigation and after a few calls to TelOne, you discover that devices you do not recognise connected to your Wi-Fi and were responsible for large downloads that finished your monthly limit?

You are not alone, though this is hardly comforting. Unfortunately, not all our neighbours respect boundaries when it comes to your Wi-Fi. They will make every effort to get “free” internet by “hacking” into your connection.

In this article, we are going to show you how to secure your Wi-Fi by changing your TelOne ADSL password.

How do hackers access my Wi-Fi in the first place?

If you know what you are doing, it is not too difficult to hack into a Wi-Fi router and see the password. In fact, if they want to, they could even change the password and lock you out. Most ADSL routers come with a default admin name and password for maintenance purposes.

If these are not changed, anyone with a little knowledge will be able to access your super admin account and be able to manipulate the user accounts without much trouble. In order to avoid this scenario, you definitely need to change your TelOne ADSL password.

On the other hand, you just need to change your password for a multitude of other reasons. Let’s now look at the steps for changing your TelOne ADSL password.
